Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy is for Washington residents under the My Health My Data Act, and we apply it to everyone. Pazo Run is published by Alanthic LLC, Houston, Texas. Contact: support@alanthic.co.
The health data Pazo collects
- Heart rate: average and maximum per run, and heart-rate samples during the run.
- Your runs: date, time, duration, distance, elevation gain and speed samples, and, for runs you record with your phone, their route.
- Your max heart rate and birth year, if you enter them.
- Your answers to the health questions when you create a plan: recent or current injury, the PAR-Q heart and medical screening, pregnancy or postpartum, and whether you've checked with a health professional.
Where it comes from
From you, in the app, and from Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iPhone) when you allow Pazo to read them. Pazo only reads from them.
Why we collect and use it
Only to provide the app you asked for: to build a training plan that fits you, to mark workouts as done, to show your progress, and to give you a heart-rate guide for easy runs. We never sell health data and never use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Your partner, only if you link accounts and consent: the current week's runs (date, time, duration, distance) and whether each workout was done. Never heart rate or health answers.
- Garmin, through Garmin Connect, when we send a workout to your watch: the workout can include your heart-rate guide.
- Supabase, our database host, which processes it only on our behalf.
Your rights
- Know whether we collect or share your health data, and get a copy and the list of who we shared it with.
- Withdraw your consent: turn off Health Connect or Apple Health access, end the partner link, or delete your account.
- Have your health data deleted: delete your account in the app, or email us.
